Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA read more services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The services level established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend more info to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to enable the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
